I bought steps for the front of my mobile home. In the website it show the steps side way, they send a steps forward. I called and spoke to Shelby and I was told I would have to paid for the return. I purchased a replacement window there. I couldn't get it directly from the manufacturer. I was not home when it arrived but my roommate inspected the carton and it looked perfect. upon opening the curtain the window was damaged before it was Shipped. Since 10 days had passed since it arrived Mobile home parts store would not refund money in any way. They knowingly shipped defective merchandice and I paid for it. they are selling broken stuff.

Received damaged kitchen sink. There was no damage to the packaging. The company chose to ship a damaged product. The customer is expected to pay the return shipping charge. Very disappointed. Will not be ordering from Mobile Home Parts Store anymore.

Terrible quality

Our order was shipped very fast, we had it in two days. It is about a dollar worth of plastic we paid over $700 for (shower pan and walls) I am SHOCKED by how flimsy and cheap it is- the shower pan which was listed as "heavy duty" is reinforced with styrofoam and weighs about 6 lbs.

Customer service was rude, and made no attempt to help us return this large item, she said we have to find a shipping freight company to pick it up and ship it to them.

I have no confidence we will get our money back. SCAM.

I had an $850 order and took over two months to get ONE of my TWELVE items! Just to have them say they send it and even tho it was damaged and sent back they did sent it and that was the end of it and hung up on me

Worst to work with

They are the worst. Ordered a door on Aug.23rd. They charge my credit card. Never got door. They blame everyone and everything but them. Hard to contact. I would not buy anything from them.

Absolutely! They did the same thing to us- and were charged for delivery to and return delivery!! They have a third party for shipping, which is not mentioned when ordering.

Where are the items I ordered

I ordered blinds for my mobile home and still haven't received them. I am just wondering if they are still in business or did they get blown away by the hurricane?

Every time I call I get a recording stating "all lines are busy, please try again later". I have tried calling for several days now and get no response. Sort of strange since I know some people in the area and they have phone service. How do I get my money back if they continue to avoid me.

Is anyone else having the same problem with Mobile Home Parts Store?

I have been trying to contact them since 20 Sep 2018 with no response. I believe a company needs to take care of their customers if they want to stay in business.

I ordered a window 46 x 60. Window arrived several weeks later. Wrong size and was damaged. Frame was badly bent in two places. Shipping box showed no indication of damage. The box was perfect. Packing material tight and window was well protected. So perfect I question if it was already damaged when MHPS shipped it. There is no way the window could be installed even if it was the right size. I called MHPS 3 days after delivery and explained the damage. Also sent several pictures. Just received a call back and message was relayed by the only person I have ever spoken to that the “manager” said they will NOT take the window back or refund my $470.00. She suggested I donate or try to sell my worthless window. Said I should have opened the box, slid the 80 pound window out and inspected it before signing for it. This tid bit of fine print was of course NOT printed in the confirmation email I received at the time of order. Nor was this loop hole detail mentioned at the time of making my purchase. One will only learn this after the fact by searching through pages of information on the web site. I am a 65 year old widow. I couldn’t get that window out of the box by myself to inspect. Did I mention it was 80 pounds? I am appalled. I have never been treated this way by any retailer in my life. MHPS takes NO responsibility for shipping the wrong size window and it was DAMAGED to boot! I signed, they are off the hook. I think this is a small time one owner company, no real manager, the one chic on the phone is all they got. I’m retired. I have plenty of time to out this scamming company and will make it my mission. I’m starting here with this review. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS. My social security income cannot afford to be taken by illegitimate business practices.

Poor coustomer service

I ordered a 54-inch shower and a 54-inch x 66-inch shore door from Mobile Homes Parts Store (MHPS) for my cabin in northern Minnesota. The overall service I received from MHPS to deal with defective and improper parts was in my opinion deplorable.

As such I wouldn't recommend Mobile Home Parts Store to a dog. Please read on. My cabin is a doublewide manufactured home which is why I ordered the shower and door from MHPS. MHPS requires you to inspect your delivered goods within 10 days.

So I inspected them both for defects. The shower came cracked. So, I rejected it immediately and it took a while to get it replaced....long after the vacation I had taken to install it was over. When the shower door was separately delivered, I took the doors out of the box they were shipped-in and the doors seemed to be the right size and in good condition.

Once the replacement shower finally arrived, I started installing the shower at my cabin. As it was winter and 120 miles from my residence, it took several months of weekend work for me to finish the shower installation. Then last weekend, I started to install the shower door and found that the top and bottom tracks which were in a box marked for a 54-inch shower door but were in fact 45-inch tracks. When I originally inspected the door there were so many pieces that unless one started to install the door right way, you wouldn't have realized they shipped the wrong top and bottom rails.

So today I called MHPS. I got a customer service rep after waiting 5 to 10 minutes. I explained the issue and said I need to get the right sized tracks. The Rep put me on hold for about 10 minutes as she went to check my order number and to talk to the MHPS manager.

The Rep returned and informed me that because I had ordered the door several months ago, MHPS would not help me get the right tracks. And she gave me no suggestions of what to do except to throw the $200 doors away. I said then please connect me with your manager. The rep said it won't help to talk to her cause the manager was the one that told her what to tell me.

I said I still wanted to talk to the manager. She then said the manager is dealing with others that had been waiting. I said OK please put me on hold and let her know I am waiting to speak with her. The Rep said she would not put me on hold and that I needed to e-mail the manager.

So rather than simply helping me to get the right tracks, the REP and manager indignantly turned their backs on me and treated me with utter disregard. With this demonstration of horrendous service, I would not recommend Mobile Home Parts Store to a dog.

Pathedic

Door took 8 weeks to arrive RL carriers were great! I called and verified the order prior to my conversation.

However, I was delivered the wrong door. After 3 trips to Menards too buy lumber to make it fit. Didn't know till my door was torn out. Called to advise them.

And nothing could be done. Unless I had the stickers. Really? Poor quality of material not worth the $600.00.

I will buy locally next time. The Supervisor was rude did not offer any compensation what so ever. I would not like about this 7 hour project and $100.00 later resolution.

Rip offof a business don't go to them. Find your local Mobile home business and support them.

Shop Anywhere But Here

This was the only place on the internet I could find a 54"x42" shower base. I read some bad reviews, but ordered it anyway hoping for the best. Ordering was quick and easy and they shipped fairly quickly. The item was well packaged, but was a garden tub. When I called to let them know of the mistake everything went downhill fast. They acted like I was lying and insisted that I take the bathtub out of the box and send them a picture. I really didn't want to, but I needed them to go ahead and ship the shower base ASAP, so I did as I was told. They said that as soon as I returned the item packaged as well as I when I received it and they got it back and inspected it, they would send me the shower base. They said they would mail me a return authorization so I could call the freight company. They had me doing their job. A couple of hours later I had the idea, since they were only 100 miles away, to save them return shipping and additional shipping for the correct item, that we would come make the exchange. They refused to compensate me $50 for driving their mistake 100 miles so I just asked for a refund. They said as soon as they received their item in the condition they sent it they would refund my money. Amanda is the rudest customer service rep I've ever spoken to in my life. I asked to speak to a supervisor repeatedly and she refused. She insisted that I had to strap the bathtub to the pallet at my expense to ship it back to them. I refused to give them straps and there was no way I could box it up exactly the way I received it. I did the best I could the whole time they were treating me like I was trying to steal something! There was no apology, no offer to send me the correct item quickly. Even a full day after the tub was on it's way back the owner told PayPal that I was being uncooperative in arranging to get it picked up. They didn't care that they set my project back 2 weeks. It took them 4 days after receiving the bathtub back to refund my money. Worst company I've ever dealt with. We ended up going with a smaller shower pan because I refuse to give them my business and so should you. They have a corner on the market and don't give a damn about their customers.

ordered 2 doors, total of a little over $1,000. money came out of my account right after, order was placed 6/26 was not able to be picked up until 8/14. one door was special order and stated 3-4 weeks for delivery, but 6/26 - 8/14 is a bit more than 3-4 weeks. a week after ordering, status still showed "pending" so I contacted customer service to see if there was a problem. it wasn't until then they told me the supplier was closed for a week for inventory or whatever and it would be another week on top of the 3-4 posted. I informed them I am not in the habit of having $1k come out of my account and have nothing to show for it. after an order like that a courtesy email at the least should be expected due to the money involved and the wait for delivery of product. any time I contacted customer service I got the feeling I was bothering them with my being concerned about my $1k worth of product I was waiting on. I tried leaving a review twice on their site but apparently they only let great reviews get posted cause mine never showed up. I have plenty of more shopping to do (entire trailer remodel) and this was a trial to see how they did and whether or not they got anymore business from me. I know now the answer is no, I will not buy anything else from them.

Horrible treatment and Hidden Damage Doors

Ordered two door combinations for home; 34x76x6 and 36x76x6 cost for both with shipping was over a grand. Order was immediately billed to my account, although it would take them a month to get it to me; should of been authorized until order shipped out, then billed. Once received the order it came by freight truck, doors were laying flat on a pallet - double stacked!! Both doors were in large cardboard boxes with strapping. Boxes looked completely undamaged, I covered them once driver put them in place with pallet jack to protect from the elements. Signed his delivery slip and he left. Once my contractor came to install doors several days later, he got the door, (36x76x6), in place and installed - then removed the shipping clips to put on latches etc. This is when he found damage to doors, hidden, this damage could of not been seen from just looking at the doors before install. The entry door was busted up at the cylinder shaft of the door, and was bored slightly off angle. The area around the door *** was dented up also. There was several other things damaged unseen until shipping clips removed. I took pictures and immediately sent email and pictures; now there was one area on the upper right trim of the storm door my contractor did during install and this was conveyed to Mobile Home Parts store during conversation with them on Monday. (door was installed on Saturday Nov 19, 2016-company was closed) After reviewing the pictures, Sandra Clark said she would speak with sales manager. she contacted me back and told me they believed all the damage was caused by my installer. I advised her my installer did not make this damage and that I told them what damage was caused by installer, and I am not looking for them to deal with the screen door as much as the entry door. She then started arguing with me telling me that we should of put the old door back in and I am putting wrong size door on my home, etc, etc. My home has 6 inch side walls; when it was manufactured at the factory the manufacturer did not put in proper 6 inch jamb doors, they put in 4 inch jamb doors and covered rest with trim making the doors recessed in the jamb by two inches. We were correcting this while replacing doors. Once Sandra Clark started to basically call me stupid, I advised her she is not worth my time to argue with and life is too darn short to have to deal with this crap. Lucky we had not taken the entry door to the dump and contractor took that door from old door frame and placed in on the new door frame. At lease the door is more secure, although had to trash the brand new entry door. One week later, upon trying to open up the sliding window on the screen door, did I come across broken latch on window and the screen was improperly made, another cost that will come out of my pocket. (c) Keep shipment together until unloading is completed in case a recount is necessary. 2. If there is a discrepancy, describe it exactly on the carrier's copy and your copy of the freight bill before signing for the goods. Visible Damage When you are checking the shipment, examine the cartons for visible damage. 1. If carton is damaged, it should be opened immediately with the freight driver present. 2. what ever happened with this? I went through same thing ordering 2 doors over $1k and just now got them. boxes seems fine but haven't opened them to inspect yet

Absolutely nothing, I am sorry to say.

I wish you luck, my boxes were not damaged either - this was definitely a manufacturer damaged and then boxed up. But, either way they should of taken care of situation.

I personally will not be dealing with them again.

I will spend the extra and have someone do custom, if that is what it takes.

They told me my part was on backorder and into weeks it would be in. I emailed and it still wasn't in. I told them that is what ****** told me. If you don't know what your talking g about then don't put it in an email.I asked if they would swap out that part for one they have in stock send it to me at equal value because I have waited so long and was misinformed? They would not do it. These people do not know good customer service.
